I'd like to send condolences to Bob's family. I have fond memories of Bob from growing up at First Lutheran Church where I sang with Bob in the choir and in later years when I returned to Muskegon to care for my parents and would accompany my dad and bowl with Bob and Doris at Muskegon Lanes. He was such a positive person and always made me feel welcome.

To Doris and family. I had the pleasure of meeting Bob and Doris at the nursing home while my mother Alice Dusenberry was there. Bob would always wheel Doris down and check on my mother who had dementia. We would visit and he talked of his family. When my mother fell and broke her hip and was brought back to Hillcrest he came down to her room to let me know that he asked for prayers at church that morning. Bob was the most caring and loving husband to Doris. I wish I could have been there for his service but we’re in Florida. My Sympathy to the family. I’ll never forget what a wonderful person was.
My deepest sympathies go to the Laban family. Bob was a a neighbor and father figure. He and my dad coached pee wee football, different teams that played against each other at least once a year. Dave played on the Cubs and I played on the Tigers. What fun we had and the things we learned from our fathers.Bob will always be remembered as the quiet, easy going father that always put up with the neighborhood kids shenanigans. Rest it peace Bob, say Hi to my dad up there and talk some football.
