Bob was a wonderful teacher and role model for me as I began my teaching career at Reeths Puffer in 1970. His patience, calm and warm heart, especially for the kids who struggled was exactly what I needed to witness. I think of him often, even today, when I need to muster the patience to deal with someone. I will never forget him and what his example meant to me - great friend and American. Craig Schmidt
