So sorry for your loss.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the whole family at this time of grief. The "Robbie" (as we always called him) that we know was a kind and thoughtful person always with a smile when we saw him. Seeing Renee for the first time in a few years shows what a beautiful young lady she has become and we would like to think that Rob had much to do with that. We both hope that your memories will help heal your hearts.
Love to the whole family

I went to the same school as Rob and befriended him the year I graduated. Our friendship lasted all of a summer but he somehow found a way to forever remain fondly in my memories. He was quite a character and truly one of a kind. My heart goes out to the Morton family as my own aches with the news of his passing. I was just telling a story about him only a few weeks ago to my girlfriend. He was part of a group of friends so many years ago that I was blessed to have spent time with. Lots of good times and laughs. My condolences to his loved ones. He will be in my prayers and my memories.
I met Rob somewhere back in 2006/2007 and it wasn't long before we became super close friends. I have so many fond memories with him - playing D&D, throwing frisbee at a park or beach, getting tattoos, shooting pool at Rocket Pocket or the Eagles, videogames, renting movies and downing a Little Ceaser's pizza and bottle of Mt. Dew... And then there are countless memories of him HELPING. Always helping. He was up for any challenge. So many good times, so much laughter. I loved our conversations the most. He was a beautiful soul and my heart breaks missing him.
Until we meet again...RIP, my friend.

Rob was one of my best friends and I could never have asked for a better friend. He was always there to help me out and do anything or help me with anything. He had one if not the biggest heart out of anyone I've ever known. Yes we had issues but we both are very head strong . Rob was highly intelligent and a very humorous person. I don't know what else to say about him other than I loved him like a brother and I'll miss him till the day I die... Rest in peace my brother I see u again someday
Robbie was a friend, always was and that's how I will remember him
Really so sad. Rob and I shared a passion for dressing up and he taught me how to properly wear a suit vest. He helped my family on multiple occasions, from moving into our new house to fixing our car. There are many small details in my life that will remind me of Rob for years to come. Probably every time I take an apple from the fruit basket Rob jerry-rigged to hang from our kitchen ceiling. Or when I check the oil in our van using the replacement dipstick Rob found at the junkyard, which saved us from having to special order a new one! He promised to cook me the best steak I'd ever eaten...and I'm sad that will now never happen. There was a time we were walking home from a bar and some drunk people were harassing us and Rob put himself between the agitators and our group and encouraged them to move on...Keeping the whole group safe while putting himself at the greatest risk of harm. Such a great guy...I will miss him.

To Rob's loved ones, I am so sorry for your loss. He was a former student at R-P and we were in Manistee by boat. He happened to walk by and stopped to visit. We had a great chat and later in the day some fisherman gave us some salmon he had caught. We had a lot, so I called Rob and gave him some. We kept in touch occasionally through Facebook. Prayer for you all. Janet & Barney Sutherland
