Robert "Rob" F. Morton II's Obituary
Robert “Rob” Franklin Morton, II, age 39, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 4, 2021. He was born on July 20, 1981 to his father, Robert J. Morton and mother, Luann (Harmon) Morton in Howell, MI. Rob loved to help people out, working on their cars, helping people move, he’d do whatever he could when someone was in need of help. He loved to be in the kitchen cooking or using his barbecue to try out new recipes. He always put in a helping hand with holiday dinners. He was a good father and loved spending time with his daughter. He was an avid fan of Star Wars. He collected almost anything Star Wars, the movies, Legos, Funko Pop figures, etc. Rob is survived by his parents; loving daughter, Renee Hirsch; his sisters, Amy (Craig) Broekhuizen, Jennifer (Jamie) Sampson; his uncle, Dana (Shelly) Harmon, his aunts, Marilyn (Dave Koszewski) Vogt, Gayle Chatham; and nieces, Avery and Cameryn Broekhuizen. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Edward and Virginia Harmon, and his paternal grandparents, Robert and Margaret Morton. A LIMITED OCCUPANCY VISITATION will take place on Sunday, April 11, 2021 from 12:00 – 5:00 PM at The Lee Chapel of The Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 S. Harvey St. Norton Shores, MI 49444. A private family service will take place. For a more lasting memory, donations in Rob’s name can be made to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
