On behalf of the Robert(Bob)Snodgrass family, we would like to express our heart felt thank you to all who have offered their condolences, calls, cards, flowers, and memorial gifts. Your thoughts and prayers have been greatly appreciated. I/we agree that Dad was an exceptional husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, and friend and will indeed be missed. At this time we are leaning toward having the celebration of his life at Young's Lake for Memorial Day weekend. We hope you can join us in what I'm sure will be a collage of entertaining and joyful stories and memories of an exceptional person.
Sincerely, Ron Snodgrass and the entire Snodgrass Family.##imported-begin##Ron Snodgrass##imported-end##
Catherine and Family. My heart goes out to all of you at this very difficult time. Having first met Bob in 1947, when he was a student of mine at Martin Airways, and having since that time maintained a continued relationship, I've accumulated many, many fond memories which I shall treasure the rest of my life. Bob was truly one of a kind. I shall miss him.##imported-begin##H. Finley Downes##imported-end##

Catherine and family
Words are difficult at this time. Bob was a special friend to our family. It was always a thrill for me to visit with him and I know Mom appreciated him "dropping by".
I remember your wedding day. The time to depart for the church was rapidly approaching. Dad, Jack, and I were listening to the broadcast of a Cubs' baseball game. Mom kept saying, "We have to go NOW", but to no avail. We did arrive at the church just as you were beginning your walk down the aisle. Doesn't seem as though nearly 60 years have elapsed.
I can remember Mom's excitement when she learned you were parents. It was as though you and Bob were her children and she couldn't wait to spread the word.
Though I have been away from Kirkwood in excess of 50 years, my mind is full of good times enjoyed while living there. One of these is having known you, Bob, and your brothers and sisters.
God bless##imported-begin##Trevor Winebright##imported-end##
Catherine, we hope you are doing well. It has been a very hard time for you. Just seeing Bob's picture makes me both smile and cry. I'm going to really miss that man. He was another grandfather to our daughters, the kind of man who would pick up a ball and play catch with a little girl just because she wanted to. He made us laugh til we hurt, and that's a great gift to give people. We love you and miss you. Take good care of yourself.

Words can't express how Bob (and Catherine too) have been so dear to us. We have lost a wonderful friend who will be missed by many. We will cherish the memories we have of him forever in our hearts. There's no one else like him and we were fortunate to have been included in his circle of friends for which we are so thankful.
Till we meet again.##imported-begin##Larry & Marilyn Frank##imported-end##
We were so sorry to hear about Bob's death. He has been through so much. We wish to let you all know we really enjoyed his friendship and being with the both of you. We think of the good times we had with you when we first started to come to Florida and that you were such good hosts. We also remember Bob helping Glenn & Dale with the harvest and how you would have the camper all packed ready to leave for Forida the day we got done. We appreciate the interest that Bob has shown in the past years with us and our family. He was a really good man and we know you all will miss him terribly. We know we will also miss him and we wish to send you our deepest sympathy.##imported-begin##Glenn and Marjory Rothzen##imported-end##
