Rodney Bruce Mills' Obituary
Rodney B. Mills, age 54, passed away at home unexpectedly Monday, May 24, 2010 of natural causes. He was born in Muskegon on September 17, 1955 to Murdock and Mary (Grindahl) Mills and graduated from Mona Shores High School in 1973. Rod went on to earn a Bachelor Degree in Business from Central Michigan University and was employed as an Industrial Sales Representative for Austin-Westran, LTD in Rockford, IL where he was an active member of the American Legion. Mr. Mills is survived by his: parents, Murdock and Mary Mills of Norton Shores; a sister, Suzanne (Irvin) Kebler of Okemos, MI; niece, Stephanie Kebler; nephew, Michael Kebler; aunts and uncles, Marilyn Quail of Norton Shores, Stan & Jane Mills of Norton Shores, Bob & Linda Mills of Fruitport, Merton & Lois Grindahl of CA and Virginia Grindahl of Minneapolis and many cousins. A memorial service will be held at: The Lee Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 6291 S. Harvey St. 231-798-1100, 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, June 2, 2010, Rev. Fred R. Halde, DM officiating. Visitation: The family will begin receiving guests Tuesday, 6-8 P.M. Memorial Contributions: Please consider the American Legion Post 1207 or American Cancer Society.
