Reading Rogers' obituary in the Muskegon Chronicle today was very overwhelming. My prayers and thoughts go out to his family. I was a friend of Roger in school and on the football field. Roger was a big contributor to the success of the 1968 Mona Shores football team. We shared many memories on the field. It was great to see him at a tribute ceremony to the team a little over a year ago. A Veteran, father and great person surely will be missed. I will continue to cheer for our University of Michigan football team. It was an honor to be a friend of Roger's. God Bless you Roger the lord has one tough tackle and on his team.
