Mr. Roger D. Siegel's Obituary
Mr. Roger D. Siegel, age 64, passed away Wednesday, August 20, 2014 in Ann Arbor, MI. He was born on April 8, 1950 to Raymond and Pauline (Palmer) Siegel. Roger was a veteran of the United States Navy and served during the Vietnam War. He had been employed by Kaydon before his retirement and was a member of the Polish Falcons. Roger enjoyed history and was an avid reader. He was a loyal University of Michigan Football fan, enjoyed playing golf and riding his Harley Davidson. On August 21, 1999, Roger married the former Linda K. Haggerty in Muskegon and she survives him along with his son, Roger A. (Allison) Siegel; three step-daughters, Nicole (Josh) Leonard, Jaime (Luis) Bedevia and Tracy Powell; five grandchildren, Scarlett, Alec, Caleb, Gavin and Kaden; one brother, Raymond (Kelly) Siegel; two nieces and two nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his step-father, Anthony Zipperi; and one sister, Rhonda Rodriguez. SERVICES will be 10:30 Saturday, August 23, 2014 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., 231-798-1100. VISITATION will be one hour prior to the service. Burial with full military rites performed under the auspices of the Muskegon County Council will be in Sunrise Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, please consider the American Cancer Society.
