So sorry to hear of your loss. Roger was a one of a kind. We just loved him and have so many good memories of him coming to our garage. He was without a doubt Roy's most favorite customer. Loved him and his cars!!

One of Roy's favorite memory is when Roger came out with his Chevelle and the two of them drove it like they had "stolen it". And another memory was when Roger let Roy take his Model A and give his mother and children for a ride in it.

Thank you Roger for the great memories.

Both you Paula and Roger were. Such an important part of our kids life!
And for me too, it was Roger who helped me get back into teaching Art after many years of being a Mom and out of Teaching..

Mrs. Susterich and Family,

I have many fond memories of Mr. Susterich out on your property, from rabbit hunting to trimming the trees on the tree farm (I think I only helped with that once, but I know Dad and Shoey spent a lot of time nurturing that forest!). You were both always so gracious to have us out there.

The two Roger's did some wonderful things together with their schools that made a real difference in Spring Lake, and they had a lot of fun doing it! He will be missed but never forgotten (we still share Roger & Shoey stories when we get together).

My sincerest condolences to you all. May God bless you with His peace and comfort during these difficult times.

Dear Mrs. Susterich and family -- I am sorry to hear of Roger's passing, but hope you have comfort in the security of the peace and wholeness he now enjoys for eternity. The illness is a long, slow and painful struggle; and, I am relieved for you that it is over. He made so many lasting impressions on the students and faculty he served so faithfully (he was trying to keep up with you, Paula). You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Mr, Susterich was my 6th grade teacher in 1969. He was very strict but also fair. I was always in trouble and spent a lot of time standing in the hall. When I was bad he nailed me, but when I was good he praised me.He turned my life around. I will always remember him as the best teacher I ever had. RIP my friend.
