I worked with Ron for many years at Howmet/Alcoa. What a nice guy. I am praying for his family.
Ron was one of the people at worked everybody liked. Ron worked very long hours, but still managed to keep a great sense of humor and jab, sarcastically, at the supervisors on the shop floor (we would give him some heck too). Ron not only made the company picnics fun, but also lightened up the normal workday. I feel honored to have known him, and pray for his family during these tough time.
My wife and I were so sorry to hear of Ron's passing. Memories of playing with my VanderKooi cousins on our farm on Sullivan Road when we were kids always bring a smile to my face. We are praying that you all would know God's peace, comfort, and love in the difficult times ahead. --Vern and Mary Schutter
So very sorry for your loss. Worked for years with him at Howmet. He always had a joke to tell. He will be greatly missed here on earth, but he is in a much better place now. I hope that the memories you've made with him over the years help you thru this difficult time. My thoughts & prayers are with you. Kimberly Smith
