BIG RON! man will you be missed. Growing up I never had a steady father figure, so my friend's dads would often fill that void, modeling for me what a good marriage, and loving your kids looks like. Man, did you show me, and Nick, Sammy and Lou's other friends too, I'm sure of it!
I will always remember when I would go to the Lindenbaum's and if you were there how much of a treat your presence would be! You were such a good friend to Jon, I remember when you took out his garage, but you fixed it too, so it's all good, but man did I laugh about that for a long time. I knew if you were there I could count on many laughs, man could you always make everyone laugh, Gina too, even if it was followed by an eye roll lol.
From the time I was 18, I convinced you I was 21 so you didn't have to feel bad when I would drink around you, even as I aged 25+ you would assure me I was still 21, thank you for allowing me to never age, as a woman, that means everything.
You called Kristine and I the backdoor girls (Not because we were loose lol), because we felt so comfortable coming over, we would use the back door, no matter the occasion. Kristine and I still call each other the backdoor girls, thank you for that inside joke, that memory will live on forever. But more importantly, thank you for letting me know the door, even if it was the back one was always open!
All of those memories, a little wild, but when Big Ron was around, life was a little wild, and that's okay because too many take life too seriously. Everyone needs the kind of friendship you provided.
More sentimentally, I watched you cry tears of joy when Louie married Niki, you will always be remembered for how much you loved and supported your kids. You will always be remembered for how much you loved Gina! Thank you for sharing a father's and husband's love with all of us.
It is an absolute blessing to be a friend to your family. Goodbye for now Big Ron, see you on the other side!
