My Dad, Such an awesome, amazing man. He never told me how to live, he just lead by example and what an example that was. He showed such heart, such strength, humor in everyday life and that family comes first. He showed us all that you don't always like the hand that your dealt but you deal with it with a great attitude and a smile on your face. Remembering you will be easy, memories last forever, but missing you will never go away. You are my hero Dad. Love you.
Gramps was awesome. Bowling on Friday nights, he'd call me his ace in the hole. With my low handicap, when I get on a roll, look out. I remember when he would get excited he'd go oh baby! Won't forget he'd give me words of encouragement when I'd have an off night at bowling. I'm glad I got to bowl with him at state, and glad you were in my life. Miss you gramps.
It Is an honor to be the daughter of such a positive, selfless, hardworking and thoughtful man. Dad has always been there for his family and friends. He believed in treating people how he wanted to be treated. It was an admirable quality that he lived by. As a Dad, Grandpa and Great-Grandpa to many, he was always there to support you and help during any times of struggle no matter whether he was under the weather. He lived his life full of a joyful spirit and created a happy household throughout his entire life. I am proud and thankful to have him as my Dad. I will miss him for the remainder of my life but I will cherish the memories he left with me . At times he would combine words just to crack you up. "Frigatator" was one. I will miss his humor. I am thankful for the memories and may the laughter of those times continue to keep his joyful spirit alive. I love you Dad and give unmeasurable thanks for all you have done for me in my life.
Love your daughter,
Debbie Wilson
My Brother and my friend , will always be with me in my heart, I miss him. Love to the family Aunt Joyce
Ron was a great person. A wonderful brother-in-law. Always had fun times with him. I will cherise special memories of him and my sister, Janette.
He was the best grandpa a girl could ask for. He always filled the room with happiness and always there to put a smile on my face with his crazy jokes. I enjoyed all or our conversations wether it be him giving me adult advice or just chatting with him. What I will miss the most about him is his nice warm hugs he gave me everytime i seen him. I will miss him dearly. I can say Sunday night bowling will not be the same without him there. Love and miss you gramps and will be thinking of you each and every day.
Love and prayers to Ron's family especially my daughter in law,son and grandson. Ron was an all around great guy...happy and upbeat. We always enjoyed him at our dinners and birthday celebrations. Our lives are all richer for having known him. He will be greatly missed forever. We take comfort knowing he is resting in the arms of Jesus and reunited with his beloved Janette.
Sincerely, Linda Pearson
Every time I saw Ron, whether at a family gathering, or just running into him in Fruitport, he always had a smile on his face. Ron was a super-friendly happy man, and I'm thankful that his daughter married my brother. We have all been blessed.
Ron was the greatest father-in-law a person could have. He was kind hearted and would do anything for anyone. I loved him like my own father and will miss him very much. I am very lucky to have known him. John G. Yates
