Ronald John Schwing Jr., age 56, passed away unexpectedly Saturday December 5, 2020. Ron graduated from Oakridge High School in 1982. He worked at West Shoreline Correctional Facility as a corrections officer for 24 years. Ron was Read Obituary
I did not work directly with Ron, but I was his HR Assistant from the beginning, and he and I had many conversations when he would stop in the HR Office. He was a good guy. My sincere Condolences to his Wife, children, and other family members who I know will missed him greatly.

Ron worked as our Food Service Officer on First Shift at MTF for a couple years. I will not forget how he always made us laugh, while still running a tight shift. He and I were the only Chicago Bear fans at the joint, so we had a blast making fun of the Lions fans. Ron...miss ya brother...my condolences to his entire family.
