Ronald J. Schwing Jr.'s Obituary
Ronald John Schwing Jr., age 56, passed away unexpectedly Saturday December 5, 2020. Ron graduated from Oakridge High School in 1982. He worked at West Shoreline Correctional Facility as a corrections officer for 24 years. Ron was an avid sports fan and a lifelong fan of the Chicago Bears and U of M. He is survived by his wife, Vicki (Carter) Schwing; two daughters: Jordan Schwing and Morgan (Justin) Malek; his sister, Lorie (Brett) Lascko; two nieces: Taylor (Lance) Lascko-Marczak and Kendall Lascko. He was preceded in death by his parents Ronald Schwing Sr. and Sandra (Plekes) Schwing. A private family service will be held for Ron due to COVID-19. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association or The Amputee Coalition.
