I just heard of Ronnie's passing. My deepest heartfelt condolences to Marcia and his family. My fondest memory of Ronnie was at the skating rink. It was boys choice; Ronnie grabbed my hand and started flying...he whipped me around every turn until i tripped over my lace. I sprained my wrist..But i didn't care, i had so much fun.
Ron and I were close friends in childhood when our families lived beside each other on Quarterline road in Fruitport.
I've always had fond memories of our childhood playing together and after our move to Montague wondered where he ended up in his life. Sorry to hear about his passing.

We first met Ron "alot" of years ago. So many memories of fire department gatherings and things. Spending time with our daughters (who just happened to become great friends) Celebrating both of our daughters weddings. Celebrating your 50th birthday. So many times our paths crossed and even if we didn't see you all the time it was like we just saw each other the other day. We didn't know that when we were standing in Lowe's a few weeks ago joking around like we always did, that goodbye would be our last.
We are so saddened over your death, how could such a wonderful friendly outgoing person be gone so young (since your Connie's age, you were very young) thought you would joke and say something like that! Every person that you ever met became your friend!
It will take time for all of us to come to terms with our grief, know that we will all be there to help take care of your little girl and those grand boys!
We know you are driving a jeep in the sky because it has wings! Till we see you again friend!!

Love the Sweeney's

This is "Uncle Ron," is how Chalie introduced you to me. It stuck for years. I called you Uncle Ron ever since. Funny thing is, I'm older than you. I'm sure gonna miss your smile and conversations we had. This too does not feel real. I pray that your family can find some comfort and peace. So long for now. Until we all meet again. Becky Chorny
