Ronald Ernest White's Obituary
Mr. Ronald Ernest White, age 57, passed away unexpectedly Monday, May 21, 2018. He was born in Bethesda, Maryland on December 30, 1960 to Ernest and Marcia (Sprague) White. Ron graduated from Grand Haven High School, class of 1979, and had lived most of his life in the Grand Haven and Muskegon area. He was employed by Verplank Trucking for the past 19 years and was a member of the Fruitport Eagles. Ron enjoyed restoring old cars, trucks, Jeeps and dune buggies. He enjoyed camping, trips to Silver Lake Sand Dunes, and listening to his old record collection. Most importantly, Ron was a devoted father and grandfather, and cherished the time spent with his family. He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Amber (Joseph) McDonald; grandsons, Chase and Mason; significant other, Deanna Langlois and her daughters, Lindsey and Paige Langlois; his mother, Marcia (Eugene) White-Renouf; brother, Jerry (Marj) Renouf; sister, Dawn (Greg) Brandenburg; four nieces, five nephews, and his faithful dog, Ollie. He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest White and grandmother, Lorena Coe. A CELEBRATION OF RON’S LIFE will be 3:00 PM Friday, May 25, 2018 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., 231-798-1100. VISITATION will be from 5-8 PM Thursday, May 24, 2018 at The Lee Chapel. MEMORIALS in Ron’s memory may be directed to Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Lakeshore.
