Ronald A. Mann, Sr.'s Obituary
Mr. Ronald A. Mann, Sr., age 65, died unexpectedly Tuesday morning, January 6, 2004. He was born February 28, 1938 in Muskegon to Frank and Juanita (Coburn) Mann and had been a life resident. Mr. Mann was in the U.S. Army Reserves from 1956-1963. In the early 1980’s, he received a Bachelor of Religious Education Degree. He was a former Seaway Festival Parade Director, wrote for the Fruitport News and the Senior Perspective, was affiliated with TV 40, and was an Amateur Radio Operator W8NXD for 50 years. Mr. Mann was an active member of Calvary Church since 1965, and was involved with the TV Ministry. He was retired from sales in the Muskegon area and currently had been employed by Midwest Mobile Home Brokers. On February 28, 1958, he married the former Jacquelyn “Jackie” Pedler in Muskegon and she survives him along with 4 children, Bill (Becky) Mann, Ron (Linda) Mann, Jr., Vicki (John) Benson, Scott (Lisa) Mann all of Muskegon; 6 grandchildren, Amber (Justin), Heather, Drew, Derek, Rachel, David, and Baby to be announced; and brother, Glenn Nevins of Wisconsin.
