Rose was my mom’s best friend and likely you did not see one without the other if you happened upon Burger Crest, Fruitport schools, bowling, or a local election. She was a women before her time. This Earth was a better place because she was in it. She was an advocate for the underdog and she was magically able to take on my families laundry and dinner (on top of her family) when my mom fell ill. She was a person of outstanding character and faith, whom I came to know and admire as an adult, later in life. She would always say how her life was blessed, even living with ailments… and fiercely loved her family and grandchildren. She will be interned in the same cemetery (and row) as my mother and I hope their neighbors can get some rest;). Im sorry that I will be out of town for the funeral and will have a toast and a cup of coffee in her honor. She truly was a phenomenal human being.
