Dear Mike, July 23, 2009
Just reviewed my internet Grand Haven Tribune and found your Mother's obituary. My sincere and deepest sympathies to you,Judy and each of your families. At age 92 your Mother certainly had an exceptional life.
Hope we can get togather and see each other in celebrating our GHHS 50th Class Reunion in 2010.
Sincerely your classmate,

Hi Judy, Mike & Steve, We enjoyed being with you to share memories of Aunt Rose. She was such a beautiful, classy lady. We enjoyed our annual lunches with her in Grand Rapids when we all went to visit Rich's sister, Mary Margaret. It was a privelege to have had her in our lives. We have lost a truly wonderful lady.

I don't think I ever spoke one word to Rose but she was a neighbor, and relative to a couple of dear friends. I delivered mail to the Secory house and was always in awe of the tall handsome Ralph and his beautiful bride Rose. Another Spring Lake Icon has passed to another life. How fortunate we were able to have her for the short time she was here.##imported-begin##Fritz Curtis##imported-end##

My Dearest Friend Rose
By chance we've met-
By chance 'tis not,
A friend to share
Times given lot.
How would we know
Our paths should cross?
A greater plan
We've come across.
In meeting you,
I've surely found
A precious gift,
I've heard the sound...
My Father's whisper
In my ear
Of the gift from Him
I hold so dear.
The time together
That we share...
A fragrant Rose amidst the air.
You came into my life one day:
Know in my heart you'll always stay.
My friend, my friend, come play with me.##imported-begin##Loretta McLaughlin##imported-end##
