Dear Mike and Terri, I am just now seeing the news of your Dad's passing and I am so very sorry for your loss. I remember Roy fondly when he worked at Moss Ridge Golf Course with my Dad....a nicer man I have yet to meet. He always made me feel special whenever I would see him. I am sure you feel his absence greatly and my heart goes out to you and your family. May you take comfort in knowing that he loved the Lord and

Sending my heart felt condolences to all of you in Roy's family. Roy was one of the nicest people I have ever known. He was an inspiration to me not only for all of his goodness, but for the example he set for all to see. He was great at what did as a tradesman, and as person. He will be missed. To know Roy Forward was to know a faithful and gracious disciple of Jesus Christ. His friendship was a treasure, his smile was a blessing and his witness was an inspiration to all. My introduction to Roy came years ago through the Methodist Union, now known as Muskegon Methodist Ministries, in which his leadership, wisdom and faith made such a valuable contribution.

I join with his many, many friends who give thanks for Roy's life, mourn his passing, and pray God's comfort for Shirley and the family.

Roy was our Awesome neightbor, watching him in the yard and on his tractor brings so many good memories. He had a special bond with our dog Star. I will truly miss our conversations and thoughts. Roy was a very caring man who would always help out.

Roy was such a sweet man and we loved to joke back and forth while at church at Wolf Lake Methodist Church. He was a breath of fresh air and sunshine whenever he was near. He will be missed very very much. Love Pam, Tim & Travis.
