Mr. Roy Dale Forward's Obituary
Mr. Roy Dale Forward, age 77, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, December 11, 2012. He was born May 4, 1935 in Summit City, MI to Gilbert and Claudia (Hulett) Forward. Mr. Forward worked as the superintendent for Tridonn Construction Company and was a brick layer for many years. He was a member of Wolf Lake United Methodist Church, was a certified Lay Speaker, and was very involved with DeColores. He also loved to golf and go camping. On April 30, 1954 he married Shirley D. Good in Muskegon and she survives him along with 3 children, Mike (Terri) Forward, Kathy (Mike) Nixon both of Muskegon, Mark (Jody) Forward of Zeeland; 7 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers; 1 sister; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; 1 brother; and 1 sister. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, December 15, 2012 at First Evangelical Lutheran Church (1206 Whitehall Rd.) with Pastor Bob Whitlock officiating. MEMORIALS to the Wolf Lake United Methodist Church Memorial Fund will be appreciated.
