SO SORRY TO HEAR OF THE PASSING OF RUTHIE ... SHE STARTED HER LIFE RIGHT BESIDE MINE 5 YEARS BEFORE ME ...AS OUR NEXT DOOR NEIGHBOR ..SHE WAS LIKE MY BIG SISTER ..ONE THAT SOMETIMES LOOKED AFTER ME WHEN MY PARENTS WERE AWAY ... YES ALWAYS ON HER BICYCLE ..SHE LOVED TO RIDE .. THE TIME I REMEMBER THE MOST.... WELL WHEN I WAS QUITE YOUNG AND GOT MY FIRST BB GUN (REMEMBER THOSE?) WELL I WAS OUT OF BB'S SO ONE DAY I LOADED IT UP WITH SAND ..AND THOUGHT IT WOULD BE FUNNY TO HIDE DOWN IN THE BUSHES AND SHOOT IT AT RUTHIE'S LEGS AS SHE CAME ACROSS THE FIELD TO OUR HOUSE .... WELL SHE DIDN'T THINK IT WAS VERY FUNNY AND WENT RUNNING TO TELL MY MOM AND DAD .... AND.....NEEDLESS TO SAY .... THAT WAS THE END OF THAT AS MY DAD BROKE MY BB GUN OVER HIS KNEE AND THEN ADDED A LITTLE MORE SOMETHING TO MY BEHIND (OUCH!) LOL.... SORRY RUTHIE ...I BET YOU NEVER FORGOT THAT EITHER ... SO NOW MAY YOU REST IN PEACE MY DEAR FRIEND UNTIL MEET AGAIN ....
