Gloria and I were so very sad to hear of Ruth's passing. While our hearts ache with Mike and the whole family, we are thankful to imagine her waking up in heaven, walking into the loving arms of Jesus, and then surrounded with her loved ones who went before her. Paul's words are packed with hope when he reminded us in that "to be with Christ is better by far" (Philippians 1:23). Ruth brought her gentle, sweet, positive, and encouraging spirit into every interaction. Her faith and faithfulness were an example to everyone who knew her. She was a great lady . . . we are so honored to have known her and call her "friend." Our prayers are with Mike and all the family.
