Ruth Cuti's Obituary
Ruth Mildred Cuti, age 78, of Grand Haven passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2006, at a local care facility. She was born October 10, 1927 to Thomas and Emma (Leist) Kennedy in Antler, Saskatchewan, Canada. Ruth was a member of United Methodist Church of the Dunes. She worked for several area restaurants, including Win Schuler’s and Bilmar, and later worked at the Harvey House in home care. Ruth was a giving person who lived her life for others, especially her family and friends. She was a great cook and enjoyed baking and sewing.
Survivors include a daughter, Debbie Ralya of Boulder, CO; 2 sons, Mike Cuti and Charles (Tara) Cuti both of Spring Lake; 2 grandchildren, Michele and Charles; 3 sisters, Anne, Mable, and Sadie; 5 brothers, Bill, Ed, Alfred, and Redge of Canada, and Glenn of New Jersey; also many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother Ken.
A funeral service for Ruth will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday at United Methodist Church of the Dunes, Grand Haven, with Rev. Daniel Duncan officiating. Friends may meet the family at church Friday one hour prior to the service, 10-11 am. Interment will be in Lakeshore Cemetery. Those desiring a memorial may donate to a charity of his or her choice.
