I have great memories of Aunt Ruth and Uncle Ken coming to Gulf Shores, Alabama for the winter months. We, their southern family, enjoyed the love, laughter, games, seafood, and worship together with them. My Dalson mother, May, shared a good deal of Aunt Ruth's wit, but she did not have her sister's talent in writing poetry. I have a small portion of Aunt Ruth's writings. They are treasured and shared with others within our family. Thank you all for giving such honor to your parents. I never heard one bad word from their lips about family disappointments, and that is truly remarkable in our society today. May God bless you always.
