Dear Julie and Family:
It saddened me to see in The Mesabi Daily news that your mother had passed away but it was also with some joy to see that she had lived a very long, happy and fulfilling life.
Whenever I get back to Virginia, I always stop in to see Joyce Snyder and we reminisce about the neighborhood and we often talked about you and your mom.
I will always remember how kind your mother was to me as I was growing up. I hope that I will be as grascious and kind throughout my life as she was in hers.

I had the privilege of getting to know Ruth during my work as an aide at DaySpring Assisted Living Home. I came to love her very much as we got to know one another better. She was a kind, generous and wonderful lady, and she had the greatest life stories which she was always happy to share with the other residents. I left DaySpring in Oct. 2002 and I remember when I told Ruth I was leaving, we both cried. We didn't know each other for a very long time, but I feel we became friends. I did grow to love her very much. I know now that her suffering is over and she is reunited with Cliff. God Bless you Ruth and thank you for your presence. I will see you again someday, in Heaven!
