Cindy Hill
“Mrs. Welling” is how I remember her. How wonderful that Mike, Sue, Nancy and Ross had her in their lives for so long….and yes, I remember all you “kids”. Sue and I have been friends since Mary A. White Elementary School. It’s neat that Sue and I reconnected when she was a student teacher supervisor and I was teaching in a school in Ludington (that Sue had a student teacher placed in). I loved “playing” at the Wellings’ house. Mrs. Welling was a gentle, sweet lady and always made me feel welcome. The Welling house, up the hill from my house, was a cool house with tall pillars on the front porch where Sue and I played with Barbie dolls. I remember Mrs. Welling offering us snacks. I remember swimming in the pool. I have many fond childhood memories of “playing” with Sue. (In todays’ lingo it would be called “hanging out”!) Mrs. Welling was so nice and she and Mr. Welling had a wonderful family. My prayers are with you all.
Love, Cindy (Beach) Hill
