Sam Singh's Obituary
Sam Singh, formerly known as Satwinder Singh, age 55, passed away unexpectedly in Muskegon, MI, on Saturday, August 12, 2023. Sam was born in Kamalpur, Punjab, India on August 10, 1968, to Resham Singh and Jaswant Kaur. He moved to the United States in 1996 and moved to Muskegon in 2004, where he helped manage Isha Ozzi’s Party Store for many years. He was married to Nirmal Kaur, and they spent many wonderful years together. He is survived by his wife, Nirmal Kaur; daughter, Ishmeet Kaur; mother, Jaswant Kaur; sister in Canada, Gurjit Kaur; brother in-law, Gurbinder Singh; and uncle in India, Tarsem Singh. Sam is preceded in death by his father, Resham Singh. A VISITATION will be taking place from 9:30-11:00 AM on Saturday, August 19, 2023, at The Sytsema Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 737 E. Apple Ave, Muskegon, MI, 49442, with a FUNERAL PRAYER SERVICE taking place from 12:30-2:00 PM at Guru Nanak Niwas Muskegon, 2018 Shettler Rd, Muskegon, MI, 49444.
