Sandra L. Ferney's Obituary
Sandra Lee Ferney, age 78, passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at The Poppen Residence. She was born on December 12, 1941 to Harvey and Bertha (Wilkinson) Matthews in Muskegon. Sandra was a member at Fruitport Congregational Church and a life member of VFW Post #3734. On June 13, 1992 she married Robert Ferney and together they spent 21 happy years together until his death in August of 2013. Sandra is survived by her children, Shannon Smith, Jeff (Patricia) Perron; grandchildren, James (Kacey) Dean, Jessica Dean; great-grandchild, Sophia Dean; sister, Debra (Ted) Hobby. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert; sisters, Nancy Todd and Dawn Kirkpatrick. A burial for Sandra will take place in the summertime at Fruitport Pine Hill Cemetery.
