She will be greatly missed by so many. I am so grateful for the gift she gave me in her daughters and sons as my friends from early childhood. Sandy was friends with my parents, so all of us kids grew up together, and created lifelong friendships. My heart goes out to each of you, as you go through this time of letting so. It won't be easy, but there is joy in knowing you will see her again in Heaven. And for Dan, I thank you for all the happy years you gave her. I remember fondly several visits to your home, for family gatherings; and how welcoming and peaceful it was there. May God comfort you in your time of loss, and lift you up with the memories of all that you created together. Just remember that you are not alone, and your family is there to walk beside you. Praying for God's peace for each of you. . .

A great loss on Feb 23rd when my sister passed up to our Lord....it is hard to imagine a world without her in it....giving, loving and amazing person was Sandy. She was kind to a fault to everyone and will be greatly missed. RIP my sister.....Love Judy <3

In my long lifetime, I've never known anyone with more energy, more joy in living, more pure delight in whatever the day might bring, than Sandy. When she came to Blue Lake Public Radio as office manager, she faced the enormous task of re-organizing an office that was in complete disarray and a boss who wasn't much better. Most people would have turned around and looked for a better job. Not Sandy. She got busy and created order out of chaos. She was truly dedicated to the station's mission and I will forever be grateful for her hard work and her nearly always sunny disposition. That isn't to say she didn't have her moments of discontent. I could always tell if something wasn't working out for her. If I heard her snapping her chewing gum, I knew that was not a good time to talk business. But those times were short-lived and it was rare, even on the gloomiest days, that she didn't bring sunshine into lives.
