Judith Brown
Sledding together down Rop celery farm hill.. I would lie on top of her and she would steer the sled. Playing in the swamps near Mrytle Street apartment and she lost her embroidered white sock that went with our patent leather shoes. We had to do time out in storage rm. because my mother was so upset with us. Singing in the choir together at St. Luke's Church when it was just beginning on Norton Ave.
Dressing up the same for Easter she had a silk aqua shirt and I had a pink one and we both had navy blue straw hats, navy skirts and navy and white checkered jackets. In your easter bonnet with all the frills upon you were the grandest lady in the Easter parade.
Being my guardian angel at Muskegon highschool when she was 2 grades ahead of me.
I am so grateful I got to tell you that you were the best sister, mother, grandmother, greatgrandmother and wife..you were brave and kind and wonderful. I weep because I will miss you. May God hold you tight with all the love you deserve. Your loving sister, Judith
