Sandra Lee Ross' Obituary
Mrs. Sandra Lee Ross, age 85, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 3, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was born October 12, 1939, in Muskegon, MI to Mitchell and Arlene (Johnson) Brown. On November 30, 1957, she married the love of her life, Duwane (Dick) Ross, and they shared 59 years of marriage. Together, they raised five children of whom they were very proud, Laura (Tom) Versalle, Jeffrey Ross, Daniel Ross (deceased), Craig Ross (deceased), and Jennifer (Tony Dagen) Ross. Also, a great source of pride were her grandchildren, Jason (deceased), Nathan, Brandi, Kandi, Nichole, Alex, Matthew, and many great-grandchildren.
Sandra had been a waitress for over 20 years at Doo Drop Inn in Muskegon. She worked evenings so she could be home during the day with her children. She provided a loving home, and her family meant everything to her. Her delicious holiday meals and summers spent camping are just two of the wonderful memories she leaves her family. She will be sadly missed.
Sandra was preceded in death by her husband, Duwane, and her brother, Michael. She is survived by her sister, Judith, and many nieces and nephews.
Per her wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service. The interment for Sandra and Duwane will be in Lakeside Cemetery, alongside their sons, Daniel and Craig.
