I met Scott through one of his best friends about 12 years ago. Anytime he was around if he wasn’t making you laugh he was blowing your mind with some weird crazy story he had to tell you. I thought of him as like a big brother. You could always count on Scott to tell you like it is without sugar coating it and if you asked him his opinion…that’s exactly what you got, and he didn’t care what anyone thought about it…which made him such a great person. He will be greatly missed.
Dave Umland asked me to share this photo and the following- “I was lucky enough to know Scott for the better part of 30years, and although not by blood, he was my brother, and always will be. This picture was taken out off Sand RD where him and I spent quit a bit of time over the years, camping fishing, or just blowing off some steam and shooting our guns. Everytime I would run across this photo it would make me laugh because he use to always say to me “yoo hoo…I’ll make you famous!” From the movie Top Gun. He was always there me when i needed him, and never had to ask him even once, he would just know when I’d need a buddy…a brother…to listen to my crap and help me get through it. Brothers until the end and beyond.”
