Since we became part of Shar’s extended family about three years ago, we have had the opportunity to get to know what a kind, fun, and welcoming person she was. She was always ready for a hug when we were with her and we enjoyed being with her. We will always remember her kindness to us and that pretty smile she had on whenever we saw here. We will miss her. Shar was a dear neighbor of ours, in fact we shared the same roof, so we called each other roommates. Over the years you could see us both running back and forth in our PJ’s always bringing food items to each other. Shar was always baking her legendary blueberry buckle, and John and I felt so lucky when we got some. When I would have my quilt retreat, she would join in for lunch or sit around and talk with us while we sewed fitting right in with the girls. Shar was never at the north pier, so we would bring her with us to walk the pier, but of course it was hard to keep up with her. She would always tell me to cuff her to slow down even when we walked the trail. In the 6 short years I’ve known Shar, I have so many memories of her and she will be truly missed, but one thing that brings a smile to my face is every time she said “Judas Priest”. She is one of a kind.
Thank you for being my friend.
I did not know Shar personally; however I missed the opportunity to meet a wonderful and caring Gal that was spoken so highly of. What a classy lady! Prayers for the family to find comfort and peace during this trying time. We will meet once Shar! Hugs to family!!
My fondest memory Shar and I would set at the kitchen table and played shut the box. And every time when she won, she would throw her hands up in the air and yell woo hoo. I will miss you, my dear friend and every time I play this game, I will be thinking of you Love and I will miss you dearly
