I was so sorry to read of Sharon's death. I had not seen her since my first year of teaching at Craig School back in the late 60's. Sharon's room was next to mine in the 2nd grade corridor. I was so thankful to have her next to me to help me with my first year jitters. She was a wonderful, kind, loving teacher to her students. She made my first year of teaching a great year. Thank you, Sharon. My condolences to her family and friends.
My deepest sympathies at the loss of your sister Sharon. Sharon and I were members of Pi Chapter of Alpha Delta Kappa. She was a quiet, kind, and caring person. While shopping at yard sales, she always found many gently used children's books that we could use at our book giveaway at May Fest. We all loved the delicious treats that she provided for our potlucks and whenever she co-hosted one of our meetings. It was my pleasure to know her and consider her a friend. She will be greatly missed

I am Sharon's cousin Patricia Ann, daughter of her Uncle Theodore LaVerne. The last time I saw her was at my fathers funeral at the end of 1999, she wrote me a very nice letter which was very dear to me. Most of my memories are from childhood, Sharon, Janice Kay (Uncle Dave's daughter) and I would often stay at our Grandmother's house and we would play dominoes while drinking Tang and eating soda crackers. Also remember many Sunday afternoons having picnics at the lake and playing in the sand and water. Our dads were best friends as well as brothers. My codolences to you all we will see her again someday.
I remember Sharon, Harry and Tressa from long ago when I was a child attending Jibson Bible Church. They were wonderful people. Sharon would play the piano for the church. Harry and Tressa were my Jet Cadet youth group leaders. My condolences to the family.
