Sharon R. Anderson's Obituary
Sharon R. Anderson, age 70, of Muskegon, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2015 in Spring Lake. She was born April 21, 1944 in Muskegon, the daughter of Harry and Tressa (Bensinger) Anderson. Sharon received her teaching degree from Western Michigan University, where she was a member of the Alpha Delta Kappa sorority. She taught first and second grades at Craig School and Oakview School in Muskegon, retiring in 1993. Sharon loved the Lord, and was always very active in the church. She loved cats, yard sales, music and spending time at her cottage in Pentwater. We’ll remember her as a very caring and generous person. She was a caregiver for her parents in their later years. Sharon is survived by her brothers: Russell (Marcie) Anderson and Ronald (Nancy) Anderson; her sister, Becky Underwood; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law, Donald Underwood. Cremation has taken place, and a private family memorial will be held at a later date.
