So sorry to hear of Mrs. Dewitt passing. She was a very generous person. I remember doing extensive manual labor in their back yard some 26 years ago. Having noticed that a Japanese Maple in her landscape was "taken over" by bees nest, I removed the nest without any damage to the tree. Somehow it was brought up that her parents house needed to be cleaned out and she offered to give some of the items to me. I went there with a truck and trailer and left practically fully loaded. Mind you I disposed of a lot of refuse from the house in appreciation of the gifts but I remember feeling as though we had won the lottery!
Most everything is now gone but I still have the BBQ grill:). I use it all the time and think of Mrs. Dewitt every time I use it.
