I often thought of Mrs Mogren
My sister and I was naming all the teachers we could remember from Angell school
The next week I met Mrs Mogren at Mrs Overly funeral and I remind her when I would come to her class after school to help grade her students school work
What a wonderful pleasure of knowing such a very nice lady
Mrs. Mogren was one of my Sunday school teachers at Bethany CRC. She was the most sweetest and genuine woman I have ever met. I am forever grateful for the role that she played in my adolescence years.
Mrs. Mogren attended my baptism at Spring Street Missionary Baptist Church. At my Baptism I learned that she was a former elementary school teacher of my Pastor’s. Even after 30+ years, he knew exactly who she was before she even introduced herself.
Some people you just don’t forget.
And Mrs. Mogren is one of those people.
