In our 20s. Sheila and I use to go out on the weekends to the bars for drinks and dancing and she never ever wanted me to call her Aunt Sheila, then as time went by, she got married and had some kids and then she wanted to know why I didn't call her Aunt Sheila. It took me a while to convince her that she was too young to be my Aunt. All of my Dad's brothers and sisters were not that much older than I, so they were more like big brothers and sisters and most of the time that's how I was treated. Regardless, Sheila is going to be missed by everyone who knew her, she was beautiful inside and out!
Thanks for so many childhood memories Grandma..from runway shows with bedsheet ballgowns to endless crafting, thanks for teaching me how to sew and make homemade christina aguilera pants, and of course teaching me how to be a strong poker player. Cheers 🍻 with a 40 and lemon drop shot….you’ll be missed more than you know!
