Sheila Lynne Smith's Obituary
Sheila L. Smith, age 84, passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2025, in Muskegon, MI. She was born to Gerald and Ellen (Robinson) Cross on February 20, 1941, in Muskegon. Sheila had a deep love for her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She also enjoyed crafting, playing bingo, baking, and trips to the casino. Sheila is survived in death by her brothers and sister: Billy Cross, Dan ‘Butch’ (Sharon) Cross, Lon Cross, and Kay White; children: Sherry (Robert) Bramer, Rod Williams, Teresa Crews; grandchildren: Shannon (Damon) Uhl, Sheila (Dan) Santos, Bobby Bramer, Jamie (Derrek) Beach, Jennifer Williams, Derek (Dottie) Schrum, Clint (Christy) Schrum, Kaley (Branch Fisher) Crews, Katie (Austin Lanore) Crews; great grandchildren: Nicolas (Kailey), Quintanilla (Matthew), Destiny, David, Brock, Brody, Jamison, Carly, Darren, Kara, Olive, Lanie; one great great-grandchild, Mason and dear friend Judy Davis-Harman. She is preceded in death by her parents, Gerald and Ellen Cross; her husband Elmer Smith, her father of her children Richard Williams, brothers and sister: Jerry Cross, Bob Cross, Marilyn Zart and Peggy Nas; son, Steven Williams and grandchildren, Edwin and Kaaine. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made out to Harbor Hospice Michigan. VISITATION will be from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM, Thursday, March 27, 2025, at The Lee Chapel, 6291 Harvey St. Norton Shores, MI. 49444 with the MEMORIAL SERVICE at 3:00 PM and a LUNCHEON to follow.
