Dear Sharon, Joel, Missy and Vink Family, I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Mr. Vink. It's been a long time,but you were like family way back when I was a Suits. Our kids new Sherm as uncle sherm and Sharon of course aunt Sharon...I remember one Christmas Sherm made Michelle a doll house. It was beautiful! She played with it all the time. Now she has a 3 year old daughter to pass it down to..We will always think of uncle sherm when we see that doll house. We also had a lot of good times camping.

The past fourteen years I knew Sherm I enjoyed his quick wit. I liked his comebacks when I would call to give him updates. He kept me on my toes! I will miss him greatly. Sharon my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. (Kristy Kemnic, friend)

We'll all miss you Sherm. As a shirt tail relative and past neighbor it seemed we always had much in common. I truly enjoyed those days looking out the back doors of the barn. I still have the bi-plane you made for my son Josh who still to this day refers to you as Uncle Sherm. The boy's Josh, Andy and Sam always looked forward to making that last Halloween stop of the night at your home. We always felt so welcome. Something I never was able to mention to you...a co-worker of your's "Roger" who works in maint. at the Muskegon Surgical Center always asked me, hows your brother doing? I always corrected him but on the other hand always felt proud to have someone make that mistake. Even though you likely never knew, your wood working legacy has always played a part in how I view quality in this craft. You were a hard act to follow but you certainly have always helped me without knowing it giving me a goal in my wood working projects. Thanks Sherm for your life and giving me so many things that were never said but continually bring meaning to my life.
