Shirley Ann Gebolys' Obituary
Shirley A. Gebolys, age 88, passed away Sunday, August 4, 2019. She was born July 17, 1931 in Stambaugh, MI to Arthur and Doris (Greene) Tackmier. She married Albert L. Gebolys in Muskegon and he preceded her in death in 2009. Shirley worked as an inspector for Kaydon Corp. before her retirement. Albert and Shirley moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ later during their retirement years. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and enjoyed her time spent with her family and grandkids. Survivors include 2 children, Karla Fotis, Greg (Kathy Lipsey) Gebolys; 6 grandchildren, Jennifer (Leonard) Amador, Rachel Vermeulen, Nicole Vermeulen, Sean Vermeulen, Andrea Vermeulen, and Cody (Emily) Gebolys; and 1 sister, Sandy (Michael) Maus. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Gebolys, her parents, 1 brother, Burl Tackmier and 1 sister, Darlene Peets. A Memorial Service will be held 3:00 PM Thursday, August 8, 2019 at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 Harvey St, Norton Shores, MI 49444 with Rev. John H.
