I have many memories of Shirley and my mom and their teacher friends. She was a warm gentle and caring woman and I'm sure she will be missed. Bless you all.

So sorry to hear about the loss of your mom Tim. That photo reminds me of her when we were in school.
So sad to lose such a wonderful neighbor,friend,and teacher. She touched the lives of hundreds of people and I know we were better people because of her.
I had the joy and privilege of learning from Shirley Haan. I remember her as one of the kindest and most caring people I've ever known. I have no doubt that little parts of her knowledge and caring live on in me and many others.
