Shirley Ann Haan's Obituary
Shirley Ann Haan age 75, of Coopersville formerly of Ravenna died Friday, December 2, 2011 at Fountain View Assisted Living surrounded by her family.
Shirley was born on July 18, 1936 in Muskegon, Michigan to the late Guy and Mary (Seranka) Jacobs. She graduated High School and earned her bachelors degree in Education. She was a school teacher in Ravenna Middle School for 25 years. She was a member of the Ravenna United Methodist Church, she enjoyed Bingo,Crocheting and Volunteering. She loved spending time with her children and was very involved in her grandchildren’s activities especially in their sporting events.
Shirley is survived by: 1 Daughter: Ann M. (Russel) Shavalier of Nunica, 1 Son: Timothy J. (Machelle) Haan of Ravenna. 4 Grandchildren: Ross and Racheal Shavalier and Chelsea and Brooke Haan.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, Brother: Donald Jacobs and Sister: Mary Jane Hoekenga.
Cremation has taken place and memorials may be directed to: Holland Hospice or Fountain View assisted living.
