Im hoping that during this time where i dont know where to go or what to do that you can help guide me to a better future Granny. Your on my mind almost constantly & it kills me. So much has happened in the short amount of time youve been gone and i wish i could just talk with you about it. Im lost & im hurting and your attitude and loving joy to have me or anyone around would make this so much easier to go through. I love & miss you soooo much Granny. <3
I wish I could just take one day & spend it with you. I think about being little & running around, getting in trouble, making friends, losing friends, fighting with the cousins, & every single obstacle ive been through since i can remember, & you are always there. I think of you everyday, and that will never change. My heart aches to just hear you answer the telephone one more time when i call. i love you granny.
It's been 1 month today Granny and a little less tears,but I still wake up every morning and you are the first thing I think about and in my prayers at night. You were a big part of my every day life so it's going to take time . I am just grateful to have you in my life as long as I did. Granny I just want you to know how much I love you and how much I am going to miss you. My worst fear is that Aubrey is to young to remember you,but I am going to try my hardest to make sure that happens. I don't want her to forget the best Great Great Granny she ever had. I love you with all my heart Granny and some day we will be together again.
It's been 9 days and it's not any easier. I still think about you everyday and miss you like crazy. I know your in a better place and not in pain anymore, but I wish you were still here with me sorry for being selfish but I can't help it. I love you Granny.

Only a few days have passed and I miss my Granny more then ever. I miss not seeing your beautiful face or being able to call and talk on the phone. They say it will get easier but, I don't know how it can when your heart is broken. She always made me smile and laugh.
My Gramma Shirley was the kindest women youd ever meet, she was caring, confident, independent, & very, VERY stubborn. As our family and friends all know well. She was always putting others first even when it was not necessary. I miss her so much, & i carry the bell i painted for her on my keychain so everytimme i hear it i will think of her. I love you Gma, <3 & i know your the brightest star in the sky now.
