Aunt Sonja came to all our family gatherings. Family was very important to her. On one of our ski trips to Chrystal Mountian she made sandwiches out of my cooler for the kids while we watched them ski.
Wonderful lady! Greatest mom ever! I had her twins on my basketball team. Girls were awesome & when they forgot something mom would have to run over to school & bring it to them ( often forgot shoes or whatever ) Mom would always run it over to them with a big smile!! AWESOME MOM!! Loved her!!
She was a wonderful lady! AWESOME MOM & person..took great care of her children..I coached her twins in girls basketball.. NEVER MISSED A GAME..just a lovely lady !!

Aunt Sonja had come to my dad’s wedding and I asked her if she had seen mom’s headstone and she hadn’t. I was feeling really down so we walked out there to talk to mom and I started crying because I missed my mom so much and having Aunt Sonja there with me and hug me brought me so much comfort. I will miss her and her sweet voice and beautiful smile! To Pam, Lisa, Scott, Jeannie and Julie I send you all my love and prayers! Love Deb DeMars Swanson
