Mrs. Susan Marie Stout's Obituary
Susan Marie Stout, age 64, passed away on December 7, 2016. Susan was born on January 2, 1952 to Lynn and Rose Strait. In 1973 she married Eugene Stout and together they were blessed with 2 children and over 43 years of marriage. She attended St. Patrick Catholic Church in Grand Haven. Susan was a devoted educator at Baker College and was extremely passionate about her work. She was also an RN and worked at Sparrow Hospital early in her career and taught Lamaze classes in Muskegon. She also enjoyed gardening, making jewelry, cooking, and walking to the beach. First to Susan though was always her family. She was a passionate, loving, caring, devoted spouse, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter and friend. She will be deeply missed. She is SURVIVED by her husband Eugene; children, Ryan (Sarah) Stout, and Melissa (Lee) Raynor; grandchildren, Brady, Kennedy, Austin, Makayla and Jacob; brothers, David (Roberta), Robert (Deanne), Tim (Lori Miller), John, and Joel (Jennifer) Strait; sisters, Laurie Strait, Jennifer (Larry) Winslow and Valerie Strait. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Larry Strait. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at 11AM on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at THE LEE CHAPEL 6291 S. Harvey St. 231-798-1100. VISITATION will be held on Friday from 5-8 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to The Harbor Hospice Foundation.
