Dora was a strong beautiful women. Her greatest accomplishment was raising three strong, independent and compassionate women. Hers was a life well lived.
Mrs. Bouyoucos, I will forever remember walking into your home in Midland to the scrumptious smell of baklava wafting throughout the house. As per usual, you would speak to me in Greek and tell me to have a seat at the kitchen table so I could enjoy one of your tasty pastries as I watched you prep and cut sheets of baklava.
Cooking was your forte that you shared with your daughters. Unfortunately, I never really caught on to how to be amazing in the kitchen, as noted by when I made coffee for you one day at a party in Ismene's house. You tasted the coffee and promptly declared that you would never be eating at my cafe.
