Just heard of Tom's passing. He recruited for Mass Mutual around 1980 in Des Moines. Such a fine man and a generous man. I couldn't ask for a better mentor.

I just recently heard of Tom's passing. I knew him though the Muskegon Kiwanis Club. His smile and personality would light up the room! A funny but very humble man, and a highly intelligent individual. I will miss him dearly!
Mr Brogren is absolutely one of the FINEST people I have ever known, and I loved that man dearly, he was one of my dads best friends(Jere Poston)
I have many memories of having lunch with mr Brogren and he visited our house several times, I loved talking about wars with Tom because he was an expert! I gave him a book on WWII , but he probably knew most of what was in the book already, we shared several scotches when he was here, we had spirited discussions when Michigan state played my Iowa Hawkeyes! I will truly miss him! But know he is in heaven having a scotch with my dad telling stories!
He was a wonderful and dear man . My dad, Jere Poston adored him too. I will miss his kind words and stories. He wrote a beautiful letter after my dad passed and will treasure always. My thoughts and prayers are with you ❤️
I was shocked and very saddened by the news of Tom’s death. Ron and I first met Tom forty years ago when he was living in West Des Moines. I was surprised on the occasion of my 70th birthday a few weeks ago that I didn’t receive a birthday card with a stick of gum from Tom. I don’t think he’d missed any of my birthdays in 40 years. Now I know why. He was a very sweet, kind man who was so proud of his family and loved talking about all of you. I always enjoyed our conversations. He touched many, many lives. Our deepest sympathy to you, Gail, and the rest of the family. Jane Wittenwyler
I've known Tom for over 50 years and always
considered him as a friend! We've shared
lunch many times and always enjoyed hearing about his family and what was going
on in his life. I'm sorry to get the news about Tom! Jim Hallenbeck

Gail and family, I am so sad to hear of Tom’s death. I always looked forward to his visits to the gallery, his corny jokes and appreciation for the arts. He will be missed! Hugs and healing to all of you.
Dear Gail and Family -- I heard about Tom's passing this afternoon and wanted to reach out to you immediately. I was a client of Tom's for over 30 years, going back to his days in Des Moines. Over that time, we also became friends. I looked forward to Tom's visits or our occasional phone chats. We had been communicating just over the past couple of weeks on some insurance matters, but we had a nice talk about family and life in general.
Tom was very proud of his family and we spoke often about you. My sincerest condolences to all of you. Tom was a good man and a great friend. We'll all miss him. Take care, and all the best.
Sincerely,
Steve Dickinson
