Mr. Thomas Walter Nerheim, age 67, passed away unexpectedly Friday, July 20, 2018. Tom was born March 3, 1951 to Chester W. and Margery May (Gerbers) Nerheim in Ludington, MI. On November 15, 1975 he married the former Kathleen Do Read Obituary
I'll always miss his hugs and smiles at the softball games. My husband played with Tommy for many years and we missed him most when he quit. He was always the calm sensible one at softball.
Of course we went to Tommy for my husband's suit when we got married.
We wish we had taken more time to spend with him in recent years but at least got to see him a few months ago.
We are saddened by losing you Tommy!

Tom was a real gentleman. I bought lots of suits from Tom at Ted's, and he was a advertising client of ours when I ran WMUS. I remember golfing with Tom and T. J. at the Country Club a number of years ago. I also knew Chet, Tom's dad. It's sad to see guys younger than yourself departing at such a young age. Rest in peace, Tom. --Tim Achterhoff

We could always count on Tom for a good joke and for his weekly updates on his golf game. There will never be another man quite like him and his memory will live on forever.

I met Tom just a few years ago. I didn't have a chance to know him well, but I do know he really was a true gentleman and had such enthusiasm for the FUN in life...we will miss you... My deepest condolences to his family and friends❤️
I will always remember looking out our front window one night on Hampden Rd. and seeing two little boys (Tom and Steven) climbing out their bedroom window. They were such cute little guys! It gave us a good laugh but has turned into a warm memory. We never knew if they got caught but we didn't rat them out. My sincere condolences to Meg, Polly and Katie as well as the rest of his family. Much love to all of you.
